(This is not a photo of me this week. This week, I looked like a semi-melted ice cream dripping snot and flu-germs everywhere.)

Evening fam,

Now, apologies for missing the video chat last week, been out with this god awful bug, but I’m back at it today - hopefully not to nasally to listen to.

Tomorrow, I’m also going to do my weekly free newsletter tomorrow sending out my column as per.

But tonight’s video is for all my paid subscriber inner sanctum, with all the bits I didn’t have space for in this week’s column.

PLUS I’m trying a new thing where I go into the other hot topics that have been on my brain this week.

I didn’t write about them - but I’ve certainly been thinking about them.

(I’m thinking of evolving our video chats into a format where I keep the expanded Behind-The-Scenes stuff on the weekly column, and the archival column, but I also add in my top topics I’ve been thinking about this week. Think of it as a mini kinda wrap-up-of-the-week-in-review show.

So this week, it’s all about my take on the media chat on rolling Luxon, and the ‘am I being distracted from something more important here?!’ feeling I got when I saw the English language bill going through parliament.

Plus how I don’t think the culture wars in NZ hit the way we think they do….So yeah, I’m trying a kinda mini commentary on the week in current affairs format.

Have a watch below!
